Number11 B&B, recently awarded 4* by Visit Scotland, is located in Brora, a beautiful Highland village on the east coast of Sutherland.  It is within easy driving distance, on good roads, from Inverness, the Orkney ferries and the scenic west coast.  It is also within easy driving distance of Wick, where the 2010 National Mod is being held from 8 - 16 October.

The River Brora, which is renowned as one of the best salmon fishing rivers in Scotland, flows out to sea past a picturesque little harbour.  Fishing is available to the public on some parts of the river, and there are also lochs and the sea to enjoy.

Brora Golf Club boasts an 18-hole links course, designed by James Braid, with stunning views out over the beautiful beach to the north sea.  The course ranks highly with golfers, and many who visit nearby Royal Dornoch also make time to play Brora.

In addition to being an ideal stop for any Highland touring holiday the area is rich with scenery, wildlife, history and up to date activities and attractions (visitor website www.brora.name)
