Walking, Bike riding or just appreciating the wonderful glens and Loch Brora, for example, only 4 miles inland, a fitting compliment for the dramatic coastal setting.

Experience Brora, In the Brora area there is much to do and see!! The following ideas are all within a walk or short 25 min drive from the village.

Wildlife with deer, birds and seals you can also see bottlenose dolphins up from the Moray Firth and the local bird life ranges from Arctic tern to Osprey and even the Golden Eagle may be spotted nearby.

Golf, Golf, Golf!! Wherever you come from the best links golf in the world is available here.  Royal Dornoch is in the Top Ten globally and Brora GC is a magnificent James Braid Links (see photo).

Tourism is supported enthusiastically by local businesses and none more so than the Falls of Shin, a natural salmon ladder has a super cafe and visitor gift shop in Lairg.

Dornoch Catheral is one of many local visitor sites in this small and historical town 25 minutes drive to the south.  With Dornoch Castle, the Jail and Royal Dornoch Golf Club itself there is a day trip here.

Dunrobin Castle 4 miles to the south of Brora, before Golspie (another golfing town) there is a majestic castle set overlooking the coast with tours and falconry demonstrations daily in summer.

And now the Village Brora Village itself, with all the attractions in the immediate area you may not want to go anywhere else (Brora harbour and old village in photo).  See the Brora Visitor Website .
